Katie Passarello

President, Class of 2021

Growing up in California with a garden and orchard I was always close to the food I ate — apricots in late summer, apples through the fall, and tomatoes by spring. My love for cooking, gardening, and sustainability led me to Real Food BC and this incredible team. I am honored to lead as president.

At BC I study International Studies with a concentration in Political Economy and Development. I am currently writing a senior thesis on the ways in which climate change acts as a threat multiplier in the context of resource scarcity driven conflict.

In my free time you’ll find me outside: surfing, running, skiing, and constantly chasing adventure.
